you have to double up on it. no mixed 1 and 2. i would use a bottle in each side. maybe over kill but i never gel upWheeljack Thanks this.

I do the same as you and never had a problem. When it gets real cold out I double dose every time to be safe. That is with power service in the white bottle.truckdriver31 Thanks this.

I use 1 bottle 1/2gal container in each tank when it goes single digits/below zero. I have 90 gal tanks but never filled more than 130 gal when gauge shows 1/8 tank
truckdriver31 Thanks this. -
My reefer gelled up in Wyoming a few weeks ago with power service. I'm definitely going to give the hot shot secrets a trytruckdriver31 Thanks this.

when i was allowed to use anti-gel, i was told specifically Howe's if i could find it, or Power Service.
but that was far and rare to be allowed to use ANY additives. many companies i worked for, forbid us to do anything that might (in some way) cause MORE problems..we were told to always make sure to ask the fuel desk people if they had "winterized fuels"
you'd be surprised, that Way Back in the olden days, it was not common to find winterized fuels across the southern parts of the country...
but now (basically) many truck stops have winterized fuels. just ask, the dummy at the fuel desk.
and if he/she points you to the roller dogs, check with the manager. -
I suggested he do that test in the video he posted before it. Mr. Project Farm does some interesting tests.. I used PS until it gelled up on me last year, so I switched to Howe’s. Howe’s doesn’t seem to help lubricity though. Hot Shots secret or the Stanadyne looks to be the ticket. #1 fuel
isn’t available anywhere, and most fuel stations switch to summer blend early in the spring. -
i bet if you poured the whole bottle in that 50 gallon tank it wouldnt gel
-
Curious, what indicators did you see with Howe's that you didn't think it helped with lubricity Gumper?
