Since they are a ECO tire, (for less rolling resistance) the rubber compound is a harder composition (which means less traction)
They are also made in Thailand vs. the Bridestone M726EL, which are still made in the U.S.A.
The Bridgestone R283 Ecopia steer tire is made in the U.S.A., seems odd why they are producing the M710 Ecopia in Thailand.
I'm glad I stayed with the M726EL's when I replaced my Drives last summer.truckthatpassesyouby and BoxCarKidd Thank this. -
That's exactly what I thought. They have to be harder.

I have same tires, never had any of the issues listed above. I did alot of driving with them in snow and rain, no odd traction issues and ive pushed it to its limits more than once. My truck has a isx 525 so lack of power is not the factor in my case. But like others have stated the tire doesnt wear as quick.

I have not experienced Any of these issues either. And the low rolling resistance has more to do with sidewall than hardness of rubber. A 726 lasts forever but with a 46 point difference in re, it costs money in the long run

I've been running these tires for over 6 years now at my company and I've had it! I told my boss I want different tires because I'm sick and tired of breaking traction in rain and snow. Several times I've almost lost it when empty or light and I was only going 35-45 mph. I've been trucking over 30 years and these tires are the worst I've driven for traction. Sure, they get good mileage, etc, but to me it's not worth it. So, they're going to put on M760s tomorrow. Hopefully it's a better tire for traction, especially up here in Minnesota. Any thoughts are welcomed!
