Really no place to even start a productive dialogue.blairandgretchen Thanks this.
-
Also funny Jon Jon!
-
Oh - heck. I apologize.
I thought those were solo numbers.
You run team with JCT for those numbers, right?
Carry on folks. -
You are right about that as no Aggie and Longhorns fan have agreed about anything except the state we love.
-
Well, thanks for bringing to light an important feature of business operation.
Knowing your costs. It’s a good thing.
After this hilarious back and forth ( it was all for comedic value folks, no puppies were harmed in the production of this thread), we can all agree that -
Mastery of a Casio is key to a long happy trucking life.
**Sighs, looks at 9mm.
9mm looks back and says ‘ Not this time. Not for this one. ‘.** -
Yes, Wifey and I do all things together except watching college football.
Sorry if I didn't make the team thing clear, and yes, we are an owner operator team running with JCT. Not at all a bad company though I'm not recommending a L/P to anyone. Although teams do quite well here. Solos really have to run a really efficient operation to net good money.
Let me emphasize that we haven't been L/P operators for some time. We did indeed L/P our truck thru them and actually netted decent money doing that. Once we owned truck, the #'s just went up and up.
Sorry if you don't think much about the way we aquired our truck, but those are indeed are #'s.dwells40 Thanks this. -
Haven’t an issue with how you acquired truck.
No idea about football.
Congratulations on your college education.
Here is my issue.
Telling folks their heads may explode if you posted settlements, whilst not wanting to appear pompous.
Then posting a number (which I honestly thought was solo figures), . . .
You netted $4966 to the house after all expenses.
My wife and I left a team company job 5 years ago that paid
$4270 a week, gross before taxes, as COMPANY drivers. 5 days out, 2 off.
She’s retired now. But - if we were still teaming, at my YTD figures, I’d expect to be bringing $15,000 to the truck and $9,000 net before tax to the house.
I’ve got a real small rooster. But when I see people crowing , I’m going to look, stare, and point.
Good day, sir. -
Jesus, this thread is sad. No wonder it’s so tough for long term operations to stay afloat while people come in and play trucker for a couple years.
Eldiablo, stayinback, SL3406 and 2 others Thank this.
