The Myth of the Two Weeks’ Notice Requirement

 

Nothing to worry about. I have my 2 weeks notice and took another week off in between my phone interview and starting at Walmart.

 

I just did not want to turn in my notice until after orientation just in case i didn`t pass all the test or somethng.

 

I was just transparent with my employer and told them that if everything went well, I wouldn’t be back, and that I’d like the option to come back if I messed up in Bentonville(Where onboarding usually takes place.) I was on good terms with them, and they understood why I’d want to come to Walmart. I used a week of vacation, and never looked back. Luckily everything went well, and I’ve been at Walmart since. Just be honest with them.

 

That feeling when you arrive at a store at 3am and they wont unload you until 9am and you started your day at 8pm...

 

Thanks, onboarding takes place in Casa Grande,AZ. now.

 

Does Wal-Mart Drivers work any 7on & 7off schedules, 6/2, 6/3 or is it mostly 5/2 & 5/3.
