Place has been a cluster since it was built as a Williams Truck Stop.

It seems totally full there all the time now, wasn't like this 10-15 years ago if you got there early enough.

I remember back in 2015 I stopped there on a Sunday around 11:00 in the morning for a 0600 Monday morning delivery in FW. Figured I’d play it safe and get there relatively early, and take an extended 10 there. Glad I did, cuz I nabbed the very last parking spot there. I haven’t been back since, but I can only imagine how much worse it’s become now that ELDs are the law of the land.

Seems like it was designed for everyone to go around in one direction with the angled parking and tight fit. But as drivers start going around the wrong way it creates a mess.

I’ve had to circle the lot at noon their before. I avoid that stop if at all possible.

If you think that’s bad try finding parking near or around Orlando. If you have to pickup or deliver near or in that city you have to plan to shutdown at least 50 MILES out!!
Same with the DFW Metroplex. Worse case scenario I either look north (Oklahoma) or south (near Waco) of the area or I can shutdown at one of our terminals (we have one in DeSoto).
It seems a lot of the riff-raff hang out at truck stops around DFW.Lab work Thanks this. -
I've stayed there twice and both times reserved a spot. It's the only way to get in there guaranteed.
