Dodged it for the last couple years honestly, this time, taking Wyoming in the face....

Well, I 80 is now closed from Border to Border. Estimated opening is 11AM-1PM tomorrow. Oh well...

 

Yep. I don't miss that at all.

 

I miss it all the time..... because I chose not to go there

 

Ok. I miss the scenery. Not the icy roadways.

 

I drove through there monday night/Tuesday morning and it was perfect. Ran 72mph the whole way.

 

Me too minus the 72, took off Monday night from Johnstown and hit delivery Tuesday morning in Farr West nearly 24 hrs late. Road was smooth.

 

New Fuel Surcharge Calculation ‭(877) 291-4262‬.

1.50 Base Fuel Rate at 7mpg.
Current fuel prices at 2.814

2.814 - 1.50 base rate / 7mpg = current fuel surcharge 18.7 cents vs 26 cents currently.

That means this fuel surcharge change is a pay reduction currently of 8-10 cents per mile.

I'm glad they decided to have the courage and testicular fortitude to actually give real numbers of whats going to happen on Monday when we take a 240-300 dollar a week pay cut out of the blue. I salute JCT in this endeavor.

Yeah they really dodged that one. I'm sure once drivers start seeing the difference in the upcoming weeks there will be another wave of drivers gone. JCT really doesn't care anymore. They just fired scottied after 4 years.
