With all the dummy proof features they are putting in new trucks, I am surprised they don't have some kind of low clearance bridge alarms.

 

the only one, true way to stop this dumbazzery, is to revoke for life thier CDL.

until such a drastic measure takes place, the news media will have job security, and the nation laughs at the industry, pushing for more and more tighter controls.

 

That’s what i believe needs to happen…to hell with anyone who thinks otherwise..a cdl is privilege not right and many of these morons couldn’t drive a schwin bicycle for crying out loud.

 

Just more proof all these nanny alarms don’t do a #### thing…you just can’t fix stupid with gadgets.. these folks think otherwise..

 

Driver must’ve thought that if they lowered the airbags they could make it across or back out!!
Sorry but it doesn’t work like that!!

 

Whatever direction they were coming from they had an easy way out.

 

Remember the inception of the cdl in the early 90s and the battle cry was " only the best will drive now " ...wonder what happened to that ?

 

The electronic nanny devices aren't about safety at all. They're about taking more control over drivers. Plus some people get to make more money from trucks as a side bonus.
