Yup, 4. 3 Accidents (no deaths, no tows and not out on the road.) and 1 pull because i got stuck. all between sep-dec 2018. Been out action for almost a year now and want to get back in the seat. Don’t go easy on me, i know i messed up and messed up big. Im working now in menial jobs but i find myself lacking passion or even motivation for it unlike with driving. My point is, i’d like to get back into driving but i don’t know a company who’d touch me with a thousand mile stick. I had 1 or 2 locals here in orlando interested, even took me for training and test drives but let me loose due to their safety department saying no, which i understand. My pop whose been driving over 30 years tells me to just keep trying, that eventually someone’s gonna pick me up. Swift, Werner, JB, Covenant, Stevens and many others have said no. Anyone know where i can get work with this kind of history? I know best course of action would be to wait this stuff out but I'm going nuts here.

    What does 4.3 accidents mean?

It’s not 4.3. Lol. It was a grammar error.
4 preventables, 3 of them were accidents.

What scares me is you got in this situation while working with “passion” and “motivation”. I dunno. What happens when you lose that “passion” ?

China is the man who can help. Give your location. Maybe a little more detail on the mishaps. It doesn’t sound good- but with more details we might be able to help you come up with a plan going forward? Hopefully.

Everyone deserves a second shot. You had a bad few months. But that doesn’t have to define your trucking career.

Covenant transport will probably hire you.

What kind of accidents, and NO passion and motivatiion does not cause this, carelessness and or not enough common sense to be a driver causes this.
If you wabt to get back to driving, start talking to dump truck owners, contractors and the like, at the very least not megas who look at your dac record, even small carriers.
Was there police reports done on these, if they are on you mvr, you may just be screwed fro a while.

Time to start paying more attention to traffic. Slow down, no need to break the sound barrier. Pretrip your route better. Dont try to go the speed of traffic.

i think for you, the best course of action would be to go back to a CDL school for a refresher course.

that'll show potential employers that you are serious in doing things right.

    good luck to you.

Any dryage company would fall head over heels for you. Go find the white Volvo that says Allah express and give the owner a call. Start off with the number of accidents you've had and you're hired. Any of those 1099s would be honored, but you aren't going to find them anywhere but Craigslist. From dingy Freightliner Colombia to shanty international you'll find your self pulling a brakeless seacan in no time. Good luck and stay in your lane

    Wow... reading comprehension people...

What were your 3 ‘accidents’ if they weren’t on the road?

A Chicago 1099 outfit might hire you...

Dump truck guys would jump at the chance to have you drive. Not always the best jobs out there but it could be a chance to clear up your record a lil bit with some clean driving.
