He is taking his test, and sliding tandems back would help, no one ever suggested going over the road without having your tandems set to the bridge formula and state laws.

A 90 degree back, with about 2' between your front bumper and the fence, located in Houston.

    Lemme guess... Grocer's Supply. :biggrin_25523:

Good threads, Mitmaks. Go slow, you don't have to be quick. In my MVD exam, you get 2 pull-ups before you penalty out. There's a different technique for every driver, and they all work in the real world. It sounds like you could consider going slower, go farther past the slot than you've been before. I have learned to do these things, get the tail end just before the cone, cut it hard, then follow it in. I sometimes count seconds idling in 2nd gear past the cone, 2-3-4 whatever, and make my cut-back when my outside rear drive tire lines up with the off-side landing gear pad. (it's clear in the blind side mirror or drive side mirror) Good luck, this is just something you'll have to pass through. No prob!

Thanks guys. I went back to school last Thursday/Friday and practiced for whole day. I'm much better with my 90s now. Only if I could do as good on exam track (we test on different track than we practice on)

You can do it too! Drive the tandems, and make sure you clear the cab, when backing in real life.
I try and focus on driving the tandems into the spot, the finish it off with a good pull up,and your
    good to go.
A yard driver told me to drive/focus on the tandems, and that helped me the most for getting into parking spots.
Use your G.O.A.L. once you get squared up into spot.Good luck!!

I got trailer in straight and then had to pull up and back in at 45 degrees to make tractor straight with the trailer.
