No it isn't. Defiantly want to get it looked at ASAP as it's more than likely something very simple and much less expensive than the compressor itself.
Check your sleeper controls. In some trucks when the AC switched is on back there it will over ride the dash setting.Bob.g Thanks this. -
OK mine doesnt run all the time i thought it might need to it turns off and on a lot and i thought that maybe there is something wrong with it

Thats different it turning off an back on at short bursts can be a sign of low freon, the low pressure switch should cut comp. all the way off when it gets to a preset low freon pressure?

My freon is good it might be the pressure switch im not too sure what it could be

Is your air conditioning working ( keeping it cool ) if so there is nothing to worry about the compressor doesn't run all the time it will cut in and out as needed to keep the freon compressed

That what im assuming, could the weather be in effect this?
