Applied for the Sutherland DC. How is it working out of there? How are the people? Is it a good DC to work out of? Thanks
I applied to walmart once they have a different interview process. I was expecting truck or safety questions. They asked who I looked up to or who was someone I was impressed with and why. As a guy that kinda of a weird question to say I look up to someone for these reasons. This was 10+ years ago so I don't know if they still do that today. I was also told it was normal to get turned down the first time. Walmarr wanted to see if someone really wanted a job and would apply again. If they really need drivers like today they hire you without applying two time. Their is a guy on YouTube Trainer James. He just got hired at Walmaer and talks a little about working for them. It's YouTube so he can't say much and talks about the good stuff. He used to work for Prime as a trainer. Walmart has a very strict phone policy
Sutherland is a great dc for a lot of miles. You will make great money but will have to deal with i95 often which can be a pain just like any other highway. You wont meet every driver but the office people are friendly. Just a heads up. A lot of the guys their are fairly unreasonable with the detail of clean they expect you to do if you slip seat from their truck i.e scrubbing the shiny wheel covers and other tasks. Dont worry about that stuff. You'll be fine as long as you clean up after yourself.
I have 250k miles on my truck now, got it brand new and you can still eat off the floor. I can't stand living in filth. So that's fine with me. I like being clean.
showers suck. besides that all good. did you put someone done as a reference. your app will go on top
you dont have too. find a wm driver and see if you can put his driver id# down. u go to top. and if you get hired he will get cash all so
