    DO NOT LEASE YOUR TRUCK ON WITH FIDELIS FREIGHT.
    They will take your escrow accounts. They will drop your lease without notice.
    They do not give summary totals of your Escrows or settlements through out the year, or a 1099 at the end of a year. Leaving you guessing or going through every settlement sheet you have to come up with totals..
    I've been an Owner Operator for over 26 years and never dealt with a company that goes out of they're way to cut your throat.
    Their Safety manager Mike White is a clueless joke. The owner is a lying POS.
    That Can't be trusted. They have lost loads confirmation sheets. Rate cons. And then not pay you.

    Why weren't you keeping track of your settlements and rate cons? None of this sounds like a trap that a 26-year hand should be falling for.

    What does the contract you signed say about returning your escrow. They do have up to 45 days to return your escrow money. After that they are in violation of the FMCSA's "Truth in Leasing" regs and you should file a complaint.
    As far as that 1099, they are not required to give you one. You should have been keeping those figures somewhere anyway, like maybe in some software designed for this. How do you keep a running track of your income/expenses without doing this?

    I was keeping up with them, I was warning others of the traps they set.
    They dropped my lease without notice, costing me a contract.
    Just the whole set up is questionable.

    I’m not aware of companies not being required to send an independent contractor a 1099 that they paid more then $600 there was a fine that can really add up for a company not doing this.

    You been driving 26 years and made a rookie mistake like that lol ive been driving 6 months and after western depressed screwed me i left i didnt stick around i dont let nobody play with my money
