I can't find an old post that was telling what they used to clean front of truck between truck washings. Mainly bug guts! Any suggestions?

I use the car wash at home, just nose it into the bay and do the whole front end and windshield.

Then there are some that use the supplies at the pumps to degrease the truck leaving the next to use it screwed

Truck stop fuel island squeegee pre soaked in fuel tank diesel residue is great for treating your front end paint and headlights against future bug impacts.

I carry a 2 gal pump sprayer and a wash mitt. A bit of Dawn on the mitt and some water and it scrubs off.

    Rinse away with the sprayer.
Refill the sprayer at the pump hose.

    Doesn't take much room.

Put out more than one idiots brake fire with that water, too.

Washing trucks? Waste of time. First O/O I drove for I was running a 10 year old Louisville on a Hwy night run. Excellent pay! It had never been washed. His reason,,,"it'll rain, clean enough for me" Truck looked clean enough and made nothing but money. Had many little spots on paint as he did keep up with repairing paint chips. Interior of course was kept spotless.:D

I never wash my truck, mother nature does it for me. I also always throw all my papers and candy/cookie wrappers up on dash board. So I get pulled around back quite a bit. I ALWAYS tell the nice dot officer. My wife said thanks for the inspection, and the steak and lobster dinner.
My company pays $100 for passing insp.
