    I've heard them called "driveaways" where the driver hooks up three or four new trucks, delivers them somewhere, then hops on a plane back to the plant to do another load.

    Ever noticed how few drivers actually place their triangles correctly? 10-20 feet, then 100 feet, then 200 feet? Angled from the inside of the shoulder toward the traveled portion of the roadway so the line indicates to oncoming traffic to move away from the vehicle on the shoulder?

    In fact, I'm pretty sure I'm the only driver who's ever done it right, now that I think about it.

    I was shocked to actually see someone with proper triangle placement in the middle of the night last night in KY... He even had 2 small red strobes... One beside triangle furthest from truck, and one stuck to the trailer door. AND he had on ALL his amber lights and 4 ways... I just couldnt believe it

    Driveaway tends to be when the vehicle is the commodity. So transporting single trucks, box trucks, and trucks piggyback all fall under driveaway.

    Lmao my dad's a truck driver shool teacher every weekend every time he sees a truck broke down he points it out, we blew a brake chamber I got the triangles and started walkin !!! Thank God there was a guy who saw our triangles pulled over helped us fix it and we got it back to shop.

    Na I've seen worse,out on I-85 Pretty crazy when you doing 75 and you get passed like your standing still.
