New driver here. Does anyone here have experience waiting on the federal CDLIS database to update from a DMV change?

I'm currently put out of service at a weigh station due to my commercial license status showing up as "Eligible" instead of "Licensed" when the DOT run my license # through the CDLIS database. There's absolutely no problems with my license, my med card, or my clearinghouse; this was just an error on the DMV's part. I already called my DMV and talked to several people and, according to them, they have updated my status to "Licensed" but told me that it may take 24-48 hours to show up. It's been 2 1/2 days now and is still showing up as eligible.
Does anyone know how long it can typically take for the database to update after being sent information from the DMV? They told me 24-48 hours but Google says up to 10 days. Just wondering if anyone has any prior experience in a similar situation.

This seems to be what I'm picking up on. I guess I'm just hoping to hear that 2 or 3+ days isn't unusual at this point. I'm kind of worried the DMV didn't update it, or didn't update the correct info, although they assured me they did.

Some states are better than others but they all.must update the CDLIS within 10 days of learning about any significant change that affects a CDL record.

This is why motor carriers have 15 days after a driver gets a new medical certificate to run their new MVR. It can take 10 days because some states still manually enter the information instead of having an automated interchange between their system and the CDLIS.

This 10 day period may exclude weekends and holidays.

I really hope I'm not stuck here that long, but it makes me feel better knowing that it can take awhile. I have a hunch that they told me 24-48 hours because no trucker probably wants to hear "up to 10 business days". Appreciate your response.

That sucks, good luck. Please report back if/when it’s fixed and how long it took.

State information databases are usually not the latest and greatest computer systems.

Some are truly antique computer systems operating on spit and bubblegum.

Each state has to interface with CIDLIS so you have a multitude of different systems.

Now add in the enthusiasm of state data entry personnel facing a mountain of input.

One would think they would expedite correcting their error, but it just gets added to the pile of stuff that came in today.

OP is really stuck while the machine slowly grinds away.

Just curious how your problem all started. And out of precaution, I would like to be one step ahead of the game.
