The thing is they're supposed to know about any medical issues and/or medications when we go in for drug screening, whether it's for pre employment or random(I just had to do a random one about 3 weeks ago).

But more than likely the dispatcher doesn't have a clue about things like this
But according to common labor law anything that threatens an employees safety or well being is unlawful
... The dispatcher is advised on such laws, so all this driver has to do is let it be known that his health is in jeopardy if he isn't routed home so he can get his medicine
.... The safety official in this company has an obligation to know this information on this driver and act upon the driver's reference
.... But I bet the driver didn't contact the safety dept
