    my buddies driver got rear ended this morning by a May trucking driver who didn’t slow down... stopped traffic in a construction zone.

    Friends Driver is okay. May trucking driver DOA

    Distracted driving comes with a price

    Of course everything is mobile now days. So yeah we’re way more distracted than we were even 10 years ago. And well a lot more people behind the wheel of trucks now days considering you push the throttle and go.. anyone can do it

    There should be a device that makes the horn of every vehicle beep intermittently while stopped on a freeway, like one of those audible crosswalks for the blind, which could get the attention of approaching vehicles sooner than later.:director::evil4:

    Well, it's sometimes legal to use the phone while in motion, if there's an emergency, and people can otherwise be distracted by a sandwich for instance.

    if i recall, when i had my motorcycle, i had seen at the dealership, a device that they can hard wire into the brake light, to make it "pulse", and it was VERY BRIGHT TOO...but i didn't buy one.

    i have seen such brake lights on some newer model bikes, but i do not know if that is now standard equipment, or still a dealer installed option.
