"Police blame fatal semi truck crash on dropped sandwich"
A CR England driver was looking on the floor of his truck for his sandwich instead of watching the road and failed to see that traffic in front of him was almost at a dead standstill due to an accident further down the road. The driver could not stop in time and his rig clipped a 2018 Freightliner which then caught fire The passenger in the sleeper berth of the England truck died - Forty-five year old April L. Robinson, who was in the sleeper berth area of Joe Robinson’s truck, died at the scene. Such a preventable tragedy.

Should have kicked it out for the crows to get it. It's one of my rules anyway. Anything edible falls to floor gets kicked out or disposed of as trash.

I'm thinking CRE drivers can't afford to be throwing away food, even if it fell on the men's room floor at the PFJ...

No, can't you read? They say you can indict a sandwich . . .

Reason for edit: I know, it's in poor taste.

I don't think it was the England driver who caused the accident.. CR, looks to be the one that was rear ended..
I'm also guessing that the woman who died in the sleeper was the wife of the driver..same last names.

Unfortunately that stretch of interstate has been very deadly the last couple years..One driver impaled by steel bars, three occupants of a vehicle incinerated, two young children killed.Just the ones I remember...all from truck drivers not paying attention. Now two more lives cut short in that pair of accidents..

here is a link to what had happened..
One fatality identified in pair of deadly I-70 crashes

Long FLD and Bud A. Thank this.

Seems strange but the first accident where the truck hit the median was the result of a drive tire blowing...Kind of hard to believe that it would cause a driver to lose control..

It's possible but that's why I like Duals alot. You can bomb one and if the other survived you have a fighting chance.

Now on super singles? Nope. You are already dead and have not gotten the memo.
