You sound a little bitter dude. But most of the OTR companies will do the same. Then you are stranded, far away from home. And if they didnt pay you via W-2's how would they know.. It is just a scare tactic to get you to fess up to #### you may be hiding.

Actually, no, they wont. Ive had 7 companies now that didnt give a ####. They were like "oh, so and so says this", but its no big deal. The only other company was USX, which only wanted a written explanation to make sure I wasnt really in prison.

And you say I sound bitter.... and I bet you complain about how people dont do the right thing. I see someone acting like a piece of ####, Im going to call them out on it. Im not going to sit by and be apathetic about it, let people get ###### over and their records ruined... What kind of human being would I be if I didnt warn people of crazy rules that might ruin their life?

This is the same corporate ######## that people hate from Bank of America, but somehow its just fine and dandy to do the same thing to drivers. Its not. Its not ok that that rule exists, that someone can have their record ruined, treated worse than a felon, for something that doesnt matter.

That guy, he has a ruined record now, he has to tell everyone one of his employers that he was fired "for lying" when in fact he made a simple mistake.

Whats crazy is that Werner treated me so much better... If Im going to switch companies, its not going to be a company that might randomly can me for some ######## rule they came up with, while they are fine with felons or drunks.

When you work there if you decide to leave don't do a 2 week notice. I know someone in person who got fired for putting his notice so now he can't even go back if he wanted to. Also I've read of it happening to someone else online.

    DSR (Former Employee),
Pros: pay, weekends off, home daily(though only long enough to sleep)
Cons: horrible treatment, cameras in cabs, no breaks

Long days without breaks, they call all their employes DSR's (Driver Sales Representative) do to a loophole in the labor laws that state labor laws do not apply to sales reps, if you work the dock all day and decide to take a break after 12 hours they can and WILL fire you for stealing company time!

Aside from being treated horribly this is a great place to make money if you cant find a driving job elsewhere, they start at $20hr (or $0.42mi for LH) and work you 60-70hrs a week whether you like it or not, If you work on linehaul plan on sitting on the side of the road for a few hours every Saturday morning because they WILL run you out of hours every Friday night.

They will hire people fresh out of driving school so this is a good place to get the 1-2 years driving experience that other companies require! –
