A tractor trailer backed into the homeless shelter I work with yesterday and left the scene before anyone could I.D. it. We managed to get a pic from a gas station as the rig headed back out of town but law enforcement has made no progress. It would be a huge help if anyone could identify the trucking company from this security cam photo taking in West Plains, MO on 8/30/2023 at about 1:55pm. Thanks.
That's going to be pretty tough. There doesn't seem to be any identifiable name or logos on the truck or trailer. I'm thinking it's probably an owner operator. Keep an eye out , if he's local to the area or has a regular delivery in the area he/she might be back. If they fueled, or weighed there, there's going to be a record.
Looks like it could be a Colorado tag..Strange that it doesn’t have a company name or DOT number on it. The emblem looks like it may be a Mexican flag? Not a common color of the truck either.
Unless you can find some camera geek that could blow up that pic, it’s gonna be tough. Hopefully, the soup kitchen didn’t suffer a lot of damage.
They did quite a bit of damage to the corner of the roof and rafters and some damage to the brickwork as well. Stuff happens, but this coward just took off without a care for the homeless veterans shelter. Someone has suggested the logo looks similar to RBX (a regional company in Missouri). What we haven't matched up yet is the distinctive angle of at the back of the yellow trim over the gas tank. Thanks all for looking/commenting.
That’s definitely an RBX truck. They’ve had their logo right there, for years. They’ve run yellow KW’s, for years. The camera just didn’t pick up the rest of their signage.

Well, hopefully, the shelter has adequate insurance. It’s a bummer but, as you saw first hand, there are plenty unscrupulous truck drivers as well as car drivers.
