Usually good for for a few years.

    What's wrong?

Cranks strong but doesn’t start, at first the fuel solenoid has power to it then after a few cranks it doesn’t anymore, I tried putting a 12v contactdirectly on to the solenoid but it still doesn’t start

I carry a spare EPS sensor always. 6-12 months is normal life span in my opinion they do not make them like they use to. Also opt for OEM sensor and not the cheaper ones found on amazon and ebay as they are not of the same build quality as OEM.

I have had one fail without warning only 3 months after replacing it.

    Good luck.
