I lost about 2 hours drive time in Dallas last night.I was going from Tulsa to Houston.I came down 69,75,then I 45.First there was 2 separate accidents on 75 in Dallas, after getting past them I got into the I 45 bridge constuction. Its down to 1 lane just south of the I 30 interchange.Traffic was backed up for miles.
If you are heading through Dallas best to avoid that I 45 bridge construction area just south of the I 30 interchange.

Thanks for bringing back bad memories! All those roads suck. 75 still under construction? Been 13 years or so since I have been down that way.

75 was ok,a few rough spots but not much construction areas, until I got in to Dallas.I normally come down I 35 and take 35 W around Ft.Worth, first time I went this way through Dallas.

There's still a stair step of a seam around exit 46, I believe. It'll ruin your mood for a while if you hit it going 70 lol.

If it looks like I’m going to hit Dallas anywhere near either rush hour, I’ll take the Indian Nation Turnpike down to Hugo, then US 281 south to Paris, loop around to TX 24 south to TX 19 south all the way to I-45 at Huntsville.

    Oops, I meant US 271.

Also, isn’t that US 287 that goes through Wichita Falls?
