The DRC took 4000. From me for school drove 14 hrs north for class to find out that it was for automatic transmission and to top that they took out 3 loans in my name to pay for the remaining 3000. I would have had to do the hole school over again with the 7000. To get my manual transmission Cdl a now I don’t have the money to finish up the 160 hr btw training. I paid and received my theory training, paid to get my dot physical, and passed my permit test which is in hand now I’m screwed please don’t fall victim to there recruitment because it they will take your money and train you what they think you need

Curious, how does one take out loans in someone else's name? Have I been doing it wrong all these years?

Well a long story short elec signatures, my fault that I didn’t read it all correctly but he he told me covenant trucking was paying for the other half with a 9 month contract with them so I signed everything was told I would get 2 meals a day a bus ticket to Missouri, that I would be trained on manual transmission with no restrictions, when I got there he paid for my motel out of the money I sent for 28 days, no meals provided, and was being trained on automatic. Once the 160 hr was complete I would have had to drive back to fla and pay again for the test they already charged me for dot physical which I had the theory testing which I already had and a Cdl a permit which I had, the moral of my story is read everything and don’t do your training in another state. I spent all my money and luckily I did drive the 14 hrs cause they were not going to give me a bus ticket back home to take the test. I have 4 kids and a wife that I’m the sole provider for, now I owe them on 3 loans, a 3960.05 on a credit card my rent is due in 2 weeks and I’m still without a job or the 160 hrs btw
