Friday the 13th YUCK!

Well this is from thursday evening but close enough to the 13th to bug me...

Well as things were going great and when they go good for me it doesnt take long to go bad for me...

anyways had my first accident, not really bad but enough to ruin the rest of the week and weekend...

coming back from richmond i stopped at our warehouse here in WV and picked up a load for bedford ma, in between lowell and boston...anywho i was making good time stopped got lunch and kept the wheels rolling things were going good, nice weather kinda warm but still very nice.

and i went up 81 to 78 instead of 81 to 84 which i should have went 84 but i went 78 because its a few miles shorter and i didnt have alot of miles left in the day and i wanted to get as close as possiable...
well 78 wasent doing to bad though allentown pa, all the way to the NJ line got though the scales no problem, traffic was starting to get really thick, but thats the norm.

Anyway a little bit of driving in NJ and traffic was terriably thick but we were rolling about 60-65mph
i had two container trailers in front of me, one directly and other one in the lane to the right, and of course 4 wheelers every where...

And out of the blue the two containers locked them up! i wasent following to close, but i was trying to keep up with traffic so i was probley to close, anyways i hardly seen brake lights, just when from smooth saling to nothing but smoke of tires in front of meso i locked them up and did what i could but i could get it stopped...had no where to go 4 wheelers on each side, i didnt hurt the container but my truck needs a bumper and grille and a few things straightened, condenser, radiator, intercooler didnt get hurt but the the radiator hose is pushed back a little but didnt break anything...and of course a little fiberglass reconstruction is needed.

So i get a little vaction until the drug test comes back, which i like having time off , but not getting paid isnt fun...

The bosses werent to happy and i have a meeting about this little inciedent next week...this is my first accident on a very clean driving record

oh well, it was stupid on my part, i shouldnt have been so close, i dont think i was that close but i must have been...

other driver wasent mad or anything, he just said 4 wheelers just all stopped in front of him. he was very kind and helpful getting my bumper straightened around to finish my 1000+ mile trip

i dont always have alot of respect of islamic people, but this guy was 100% nice

oh well this sucks, i was so proud of a clean driving record and this stuff had to happen...
