I'm considering transferring to 6022 Greencastle Indiana. My concern is ADP. Can I earn $400+ ADP working out of that facility?
I've only been in and out of there a handful of times. I know it's a very small DC, used to be kind of like an e commerce fulfillment center. Last year rumors were going to consolidate it with Seymour after huge warehouse opened up in Plainfield. Hope someone else domicile out of there chimes in.
Well, I accepted the transfer. Hopefully it will be pretty much the same as I'm used to. Just wondering about the whole "they only deliver to other DCs" and how it will affect my work week.
Best of luck to you driver... I just recently transferred to another D.C. and besides slip seating it isn't that bad. My adp isn't up there with yours but I am trying to get it there.
Slip seating isn't going away any time soon. Until our trucks are over utilized, which will probably never happen, then they'll buy more trucks. Buying day cabs in a lot of areas would increase utilization but not in all
So, Is 400 ADP attainable? I still have a week before I go to onboarding, but wanted to get a feel for income potential. I'll be running out of Greencastle. I'm sure it'll be low at first, but it'd be nice to know that eventually I could earn 350-400 ADP. Also, when it comes to slip seating, is that done away from the DC? Or is all slip seating done at Greencastle?
Slipseating is done at the DC. When I was driving out of Seymour Indiana, my ADP was around $425. Since moving to Greencastle and dealing with running back to the DC to slip into another truck, that has fallen to about $370. Hopefully now that I have an assigned truck, I can pump that back up. Long story short, yes I believe $400/ADP is doable out of Greencastle.
Yeah, that is a significant drop. I live in Greencastle. Do they usually try to slip when you have your reset? Or is it multiple times per week? Also, how far can I expect to go outside of Indiana? I'm sure OH, KY, IL, and MI. But do we go further. The recruiter mentioned some TN, but that's about it.
