I agree. Ignorance breeds ignorance. Racial hatred.. worried they might have an easier time or make more money.

Truth is these guys came here to work. Not sign up for govt assistance. That in and of itself is more than I can say for many Americans born and raised here.

Give the guy a break. At least he is putting forth an effort to seek out the information he needs to get work.

What do you mean by this? You've been trucking all over the US and you can't say the American born have a desire to work?

 

My point is that I have spoken with people on either unemployment.. turning down jobs because its not the gravy job or paying the scale they want.. they would rather park their fat rump on a bar stool or at home flipping channels and complain about how all these immigrants are stealing American jobs. The jobs he feels he is too good for.

Another one comes to mind. In a store and this young girl is freaking out because her manager asked her to work a few hours extra. I noticed because she was getting loud and beligerant as well pretty ignorant. Said she could not work longer because they would take away her govt assistance if she worked too much. Thats pure laziness and a total lack of desire to succeed.

Not saying all Americans are lazy. Look at us.. we work hard for our families. But many.. and I do mean many.. have no desire to work any harder than they have to.

Seems to me the majority of immigrants are going after the American dream and Americans who lack fortitude are bent out of shape over it.

I'd like to add a bit more if thats ok.

My opinion here is based off of listening to my kids and their friends when they were younger and would come over to hang out. Also based on various videos, facebook and other internet postings.

I get really bothered by the attitude of so many people who feel they are entitled to a free or 'assisted' life. Example,.. my daughter came to me and wanted an EBT card when she turned 18 because all her friends had one and she did not have a job. She didnt have a job because she refused to go get a job. EBT card I thought were to help people in need. Not for teenagers to be able to get soda and snacks at the corner store. How do kids living at home even qualify for something like that? Its ridiculous in my opinion.

Another example, my son's ex gf is now 22 and she is already pregnant with child #4. She was 17 when pregnant with her first. The reason my son broke up with her because she was pregnant with someone elses kid. She came over to brag about being pregnant,.. she said to me "Arent you happy for me?" No,.. you have no job, you are not married, you can not even support yourself, how do you expect to raise a child? She did not like my response and left. Her parents split up a few years ago. I saw her father at the hardware store a while back. He said to me that her and her mother got something like an $8000 tax return, blew all the money and had the nerve to ask him for money when their car broke down. How does someone who does not work,. get an $8000 tax return???

I work hard to provide for my family. I have a disabled brother with expensive medical needs, my useless daughter, occasionally I send my son a care package even though he doesnt really need it. Everything I have is paid for. I did not steal or ask for hand outs ever. I grew up in foster care. I had no parents to help me get started in life. Everything I have I earned it the old fashioned way,.. I worked for it. People are entitled to NOTHING. If you want something go out and work. Even when I was unemployed,.. I went out and hustled my lawn equipment door to door,.. and that sucked. I hustled my pickup and trailer,.. I did odd jobs. I never went on the govt boob. My family always had food on the table and everything they needed.

There is no reason for people to be upset because an immigrant wants to come to this country and better himself. At one time or another,.. someone in yours and my family did exactly that in order to provide a better life for our families. Who are we to deny anyone else the same opportunity?
