Earlier this year, one of our drivers was headed east out of Denver. He was about to Brush, CO when he spotted a horse running along the highway. The horse was fairly well off the road, so our driver tentatively started to pass the horse. He at least took the precaution of moving to the left lane. Just as he was about to go by, the horse darted across the road and collided with the KW T600. Horse, of course, is glue. The pax side fender is completely gone. The fender mirror on that side, somehow, went spinning like a flying saucer, smashed through the pax side window, straight across the cab, and out the driver's side. Just grazed the driver in the forehead. A butterfly bandaid later he is limping the truck home followed by another of our drivers. The next day he was at the yard. He said the most amazing thing is that about 20 miles before this, his leg had cramped up a bit and he moved the seat back a couple inches. Had that not happened, the mirror would have hit him square in the temple and he probably would not be here. He said it was "lucky". But we pray for these guys and gals every day as we hit the roads. Angels sometimes work overtime to keep us all safe!

Cybergal and Bubba O'Reilly Thank this.
