How often do you tarp?

Too much.

 

My first 2 companies. EVERY load.

The last company. Was about 50/50

Some companies only haul the cheap crap. And it ALL requires tarping.

 

All depends on the rate con if rags are thrown.

One year I'd say avg 3-4 loads month before Sept. Then ramped up to 2-3 per week, since money way disgusting good.

 

Enough to make my back hurt just looking at my tarps

 

It depends. I changed dispatchers and went from 25% tarp to 90% tarp.

 

Depends on the money. No finance? No romance.

 

I haul oil field equipment. In three and a half years I've tarped six loads, all brokered loads but for one load dispatched by my company. I only have a set of 8' drops. I'm seriously thinking of putting them in storage and going with a set of 12' x 24' tarps to handle drilling mud from a brokered location that fits with my backhaul needs from the greater Wyoming/North Dakota area.

 

I’ve only tarped four loads in the last six months
