Swift is having Knight management team run the two companies. They are not dumping drivers.

You think a company will cut it's own throat by cutting it monitory source.

Knight-Swift Transportation is expected to operate with 23,000 tractors, 77,000 trailers, and over 70 service locations in 30 states, along with three locations throughout Mexico.

I think the only people that might lose their jobs are the folks that work in terminals that have both Swift and Knight yards in the same town. Unlike Flying J/Pilot, it would be a waste to have 2 terminals in the same town, and there are bound to be jobs at both that overlap, so, just combining personell wouldn't work if there are 2 people doing the same job when they only need 1 for that job.

 

Knight isn't big enough to plug a toilet yet.
