Is there a speed limit when using axle interlock?

So I've used the axle interlock before, mostly when backing up and you get that back axle lift coming off the street onto a driveway, for a dock, and the front drive axle loses traction. Once I get past the obstacle I'll either stop to turn it off, or turn it off after I bump the dock if the dock is not too far back.
Watching a trucker driving on an Interstate in snow (don't judge), and he's not going very fast (45ish, safe for conditions) and says he has the axle interlock on.
Wondering if there is any kind of speed limit for using the interlock.

And yes, I know you shouldn't use it on dry pavement except for situations like I mentioned above.

    Boondock and truckdriver31 Thank this.

Nope, just don’t engage when wheel is spinning (stuck).

Won't hurt anything if its a little slick out.

In a "perfect world" the interaxle does very little to no speed compensation when running down the highway.

In reality though, tires are never 100% identical diameters, weights aren't always identical on each tire and suspension components have play in them which can alter the axle alignments when driving around corners. Slick roads allow the tires to slip easier, rather than load the gears excessively and make the oil hot.

Shouldnt hurt anything as long as its a little slick out. I have driven, amd know guys that still do drive, trucks with full lockers (inter-axle and differential locks). When it gets really ####ty they will lock it all up and hammer down, never seen one with a problem unless they forgot to unlock it once traction got better.
