Schneider has a program called, company driver to lease driver, talk to your recruiter for details if you’re really set about leasing, it’ll help also being a company driver, see where they go, watch freight lanes, and such

 

Good idea. Lease drive for Scnieder who has more company trucks to keep moving than lease trucks. They will sit you out over a company truck every time.

 

That won't help at Schneider. There's a ton of customers you won't see as an IC at Schneider.
Just because you ran a particular lane as a company driver doesn't mean you'll be able to as an IC.

 

They have tried to get everything on dedicated so they don't have to show it on the board.
The choice board it literally nothing but scraps.

 

Schneider doesn't have lease purchase , it's a straight lease with an option to pay the residual at the end of lease term.
Your are building no equity whatsoever in the truck.

 

You can't build equity in a depreciating asset.

 

Minimum six months with the company based on home location, no preventative accidents, your DBL will run a checklist against your performance before sending that same checklist on to Safety and Regulatory for their own review of your performance. That's only the company side, gotta go through SFI recruiting and Finance steps as well.
