I was wondering how well they work on truck lugs, they're a lot cheaper than a good 3/4 or 1 inch air impact.

I got a 1/2” high torque one. 33mm socket. It will remove lugs put on with the 1” air impact as Long as some monkeys didn’t pull on the trigger for 20 minutes putting them on.

You won’t change the shocks on a Kenworth AG200 suspension in 10 minutes or even 20. I guarantee it. Designing a suspension with 4 inaccessible bolts is absolutely asinine. Not one of KW’s better ideas.

Volvo if the shocks haven’t been changed in a while you will be taking the tires off.

I put all new Monroe Shocks all the way around on my truck 10,000 miles ago.

I wonder if they're under warranty because the one on the right rear blew out. Oil all over the place.

Got to call Freightliner on Monday...

Oh yeah I put the grease from the grease gun on the bolts too. So they don't seize and rust. Lucas it's like $5 a tube. Again not hard.

I tried the Road King, below photos, on steer last truck, kind of disappointing, for the price
now I'm thinking to try Fox also on steer axle, where most vibrations are transmitted to driver seat/body, i used this brand on off road jeep, well built. They start making shocks for all major commercial trucks, axles and cab.
But when you get over 50yo and a couple of mill miles on body, no shock seems to help:).

It's funny when they do that and then go around the lugs with a torque wrench set at 500 ft lbs clicking them off LOL I think the thousand ft lbs they stretched the studs to is plenty no need to torque it...

Once a lug nut is hand threaded all the way to seat it up it only takes about a full 1 to 2 seconds blip on the 1" air impact to torque it down enough then you'll do about a quarter to half a crank on the torque wrench to the final 475 ft lbs I like to put mine to.
