For me, one pallet is a full load. I'm not in the business of stringing together a bunch of partials and hoping shippers and receivers don't mess up the timeline. I recently bid full price for a "partial" and got it. They whined because it only took up fifteen feet of deck space. Here's what that partial looked like:

Whatever pays the most-that's my strategy.

Here's what it looked like from the top. How the heck is this fifteen feet of deck space??

Do not stack makes 15 feet mission impossible. Maybe standing on edge but that would require a lot of dunnage to protect your aluminum deck.

15' Sure and what would the broker say if you sent him that picture wanting more for the 15' load. crickets.
OP when I search the loadboard. I put all three in the search. LTL, PTL and FTL.
Some partial loads I laugh at, similar to the load pictured. Only in a brokers mind is that a partial. I will run 3,4 or 5 partials at a time to get my pay increased. Keep in mind the loading and unloading time. Schedule accordingly.
My strategy was mentioned above. More $ per mile, per day. How ever you look at it. More $. My goal when I leave the house is to maximize profits until I'm home again.Brettj3876, D.Tibbitt, bvanzalen and 2 others Thank this. -
