Well, Uncle Lenny says your safety score is well into the negative now.

Negative no. But should be back to zero. The first of the 3 i got oos for a cut tire. Wasnt flat, had a nice quarter size gouge in it to the steel band. My best guess is u got into a piece of rebar or sharp curb at the hospital job site i loaded at that morning.

I just got a letter over the weekend from Lennie. Apparently I was followed by a"spotter" back in May in AL. Was clocked doing 3-under the speed limit for 3 miles.
I was wondering how my Mercer score had dropped to -5....
Now I have to find someone to frame my "attaboy" from Lennie.....;)

    CJndaTruck and spyder7723 Thank this.

I've been followed once. White full size van with a black and yellow safety stripe around the back. The name escapes me right now. BTW, - 5.

In house csa score. Based off your real csa violations but given credit for certain things. Get to a certain threshold and mercer cancels your lease.

IF you truly have BOBTAIL insurance then that does not cover you pulling your empty trailer around. What Mercer insurance has is Non-Trucking Liability. Non-Trucking - when not under dispatch ... and Liability, what you say it does not offer. You may need to have a sit down with the folks in the insurance department and get a better understanding of what the policy is.

I have had a dozen windshields replaced, no problem. And our policy pays 100%, get it done wherever you want no restrictions, and unlimited windshield replacements. They don't want anyone running around with cracked glass, there is no excuse for it. Tires stolen off trailer when off for three weeks at home, covered 100% even though policy says tires will be pro-rated. Battery cables cut and batteries stolen, covered 100% also during extended home time. One of the biggest perks of Mercer is their excellent insurance and being able to handle it in-house. One call to Mercer and they will handle all the interfacing with the insurance company directly, saving us a whole lot of hassle. I've never had such good experiences with insurance until Mercer, and never thought dealing with claims or policy changes could ever be so easy.
