I’ve had my authority almost a year now and got hit with a new entrant audit. They sent me an email and a letter with 20 days to turn everything in. And byGod I passed!!! It wasn’t really hard, my wife does a pretty good job of running the office and pretty much had everything handled. I did have to go take a “pre employment “ drug test and enroll in the consortium which I hadn’t done from when I started, and was worried he would kick on. But was all good.
I was asked for that preemployment drug test and consortium, plus one out of state BoL showing you’d hauled interstate and the last 30 days log. Though i’m sure it varys
I didn’t know you could fail. They are just seeing what you’re doing and if there’s anything you’re not doing they tell you to start doing it.It’s a lot of years ago they or actually one officer came to my house to do it. I wasn’t even in a drug testing consortium or did I have an application for myself and was just told I needed to do that. But at the same time she told me that they would never randomly check me again they didn’t have the man power so as long as I didn’t kill somebody or have bunch of crashes I’d never hear from them as far as a random check
Apparently they assign points for things your not in compliance with. I attached my results from the fmcsa if you scroll to the bottom you’ll see their point system and how it applies. But honestly I didn’t know what to expect, it was mainly stuff that is kinda common sense to have.
