Im thinking about pulling food grade.
I like to run nights and overnite and not deal with all the crazy BS that goes on during the day.
Do tankers typically run less at night, because of the surge: animal crossings or black ice in the winter?
Or is this just in my head?
    Driving days drives me crazy.
    Any info is appreciated
And, I have my Hazmat, Tanker, Twic and Passport. Im from upstate NY, and love traveling out West more than anything. Willing to go into Canada.
    Recommend any good companies ?

When I pulled tankers, smooth bore & baffled, we ran mostly at night. 48 states & Canada.

I run bulk - I prefer to run out between 0000 & 0300. My dispatchers are fairly accommodating when the loads & my clock permit.

Yep can definitely run nights running food grade...I run nights almost exclusively....I like to run from mid-afternoon/early evening till about 5am...Our company is hiring and we have customers and tank washes that we use in upstate NY too...We did have some good runs into Canada but Covid and the Canadian government put a stop to that.

I don't think I'd ever try them, they want 2 years XP and i had tried calling every number possible, shop, office, dispatch, everything. even tried getting one of their drivers to call into dispatch and no answer, this was over a 2 week span 2 times a day. Nobody at IRT can pickup a phone lmao. If they can't answer for recruiting or any other purpose, what's driving for em like

I had no problem getting through to a recruiter when I called a few weeks ago to get some information. She was a nice lady, I think her name was Karen IIRC.

Can you post the numbers you tried calling?. Some terminals have hours of operation but the Winter Haven HQ has someone there 24/7.

You only need 1 yr experience if it's prior tanker. They have/had a program that took in students, but I don't know if that's still available.
