How many drivers on this forum are snowed in? Hubby has been for Several Hours, luckily he did get a parking spot. But when he returned from lunch, he said they were turning trucks away. So how many of you are snowed in, can't move, or your company has told you to park it till the storm passes?
Ok, I'm curious.......

Been on my 34 hour break in a motel.
Could have left today from Indiana to southern California at 4 pm.
Decided to leave in the morning.bullhaulerswife Thanks this. -
Don't blame you, RM. Be safe.

I'm at home, my week ended 1 day early. I had another day off due to equipment trouble earlier this week, too.

Glad your home, 25, and not stuck in a truck at a truck stop. Hubby has called me quite a bit today, cuz he's so bored.

I am snowed in... and Snugged into my sleeping bag... This is my first winter and what a winter...
The roads are bad here, some are pushing thru, we are not. Better to be safe here than in the median like the ones we have seen. -
Agreed. No one needs to be a hero in all this. It can wait.

There's a member here who had a signature line that said it all "Ain't no load worth your life!" I wish I could recall who it was...

That is true, no load is worth your life. I am new, this is my first winter and I have a lot to learn.
One thing I don't get is why so many drivers push forward in such bad road conditions. I have seen so many trucks end up in the median and on the side of the road. Why risk it, what do they gain by ending up like that and having to wait for a wrecker to pull them out. So many drivers complain about no layover pay, well I have never heard of median pay. -

Wonderful comeback!
Neither have I.
