I seriously have to laugh at you guys for calling me out about calling this company out for "garunteeing" 7000 a month. Anyone whos been out here longer then a month knows that nothing is garunteed out here unless you have it in writing. And people who "offer" those outrageous numbers "garunteed" are full of it. Theres always a catch, fine print, etc. This new company I am talking to now, doesn't garuntee anything except hotels everynight im further then 100 miles from home, paid dinners everynight im further then 100 miles from home, and a salary. And its all in writing.

You’re mistaken. There are companies that guarantee pay. I’m gauranteed $1400 where I work and the only catch is that I’m available to work Monday thru Friday (we don’t work weekends).

But again, I’m bonified. If you’re not bonified, well...

And how many companies LEGITIMATELY do that? I wouldn't drive for K&B if you put a gun to my head. Who else? Besides your company. Who says in big bold letters "$7000 a month garunteed" Then gets pissed off when you want that in writing. I'm curious to see this.

Speaking of K&B that's a whole different story for a different day, maybe. I went to them when I wanted to run reefer, lol it didn't go well. I got to the hotel the day before orientation, and saw what a disaster it was and how filthy and nasty it was, I called the recruiter and asked him if this is really where they put their perspective drivers, he said yes. I said well...if that's what you think of your perspective drivers, I want nothing to do with this company and left, and caught a rental car home.

I don't expect a Hilton, but that sleezebag motel in South Sioux Falls....good god I wouldn't put Obama in that hotel, nevermind a possible employee of mine.

I don’t know how many do or don’t. Depending on the gig, $84k doesn’t seem like that much of a Stretch.

That said, if I didn’t believe it, I’d just say “thanks for your time” and be on my way. I wouldn’t waste my time expressing my disbelief with them. But, that’s just me...

Ummm , It's been a long time since I've been paid by the mile but isn't 7000 miles a month kinda low for 4 weeks on the road ?

He’s saying $7,000 a month in pay, not miles. 7k miles would be nothing. Lol
