Steer is legal - 12,000 is NOT the limit on steer.
Drive is overweight. Single dual axle limit is generally 20,000lbs.
Trailer is slightly overweight - I’d run with it.
On a 4 axle set up like this - you’ve got to lose about 8,000 lbs.
How did this situation happen? -
All our loads the weight is 80,000 I don’t know how the driver show up
With a different tractor
driver stated his truck is a single axle
-
Wait - please VERIFY TO US that this is a FOUR AXLE setup.
One steer axle
One drive axle
Two (tandem) trailer axles.
Because - your only input on this forum is asking questions from your driver informing you that he is overweight.
So, before wasting everyone’s time, and contributing nothing - get it straight.magoo68 Thanks this. -
No - the loads aren’t 80,000 lbs.
What is the empty weight and axle configuration?
Who are you - the boss? The driver? A dispatch service? -
I meant to say 40,000 lbs
I’m the dispatcher

Like a dispatch service - not a dispatch for a trucking company - right?
12+20+34 = 66,000 lbs.
What is the empty weight of the tractor/trailer? -
Get Abiel Gutierrez to send you a picture of his truck.
Count the big black round things. These are called truck tires.
If there are 18 of them, in a 1-2-2 configuration, then tell him to slide the tandems 2 holes and roll that puppy down the road.
If it’s a 1-1-2 configuration - then lose his number.D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
Unless it is spread axle.
Or in Florida.blairandgretchen Thanks this. -
Good point - 12-20-40= 72,000.
