Does not seem very good in many ways. When they get 3 years old don't be surprised if the door key locks stop working. More will be noted as I find out.

The bunk locks work fine but they are built the traditional way. All steel parts.

Well my 403,000 mile 2015 579 just lost the EGR valve I believe. Had a big cough today. And than a bit later told me shut engine down immediately. I never did until I parked tonight. Diagnostics is showing code 1209 (EGR GAS PRESSURE). But it is running good.
Had a hell of a time on US 259 in Smitheville,OK are on that Ozark path of a road. I call the boss tomorrow.

Erg has nothing to do with truck build quality.
Emission system causes problems on any truck that has it installed

I've never cared for any Peterbilt interior. Kenworth was always nicer IMO.

When I was in the oilfield schlumberger had pete 365's with coffin bunks and heavy spec'd. 23XXX empty. 4.88 rears and 11r22.5 would pull your face off even only being 425. Tough as nails but I wouldnt want it as a road tractor

    Oldironfan Thanks this.
