As the title says. Just got a call from dealership that ill be charged 1500$ surcharge on the order that i placed last month.is anyone else hit with this surcharge. They said its coming down from paccar due to shortage of chips.

Well they told me i can cancel the order and get the refund or pay 1500 extra surcharge . But i am in need of a truck . So mighy have to eat that 1500 and probably get some ad ons .Jarhed1964 and feldsforever Thank this.

If you have signed saying you would pay x amount of dollars for said truck then I would I would voice my opinion. Far as I am concerned y'all have made a deal and they are breaking the terms of that deal.

Yeh i have a signed contract .i was thinking just saying fku to peterbilt and make an order with kenworth. It is unprofessional and cheap to even ask for 1500 when m making a purchase of 185 k .
