So, you think you’re having a bad day? Do NOT drive around barricades and road closed signs. Do NOT try to drive through flood water. Your day will only get worse.

This happened yesterday in my town. The driver blindly followed his GPS and I'm thinking it wasn't a truck GPS as that's not a truck route. Mods if there's a better place to post this feel free to move it. This happened in Prairie du Chein WI. I'm not posting it to be a butthead and we all can make mistakes but stop and call if you're in a situation you need help out of. This is a small town, he probably would've got a butt chewing for being off the truck route and they'd have got him back up to the highway and around.

That’s one of the better looking Western Express trucks I’ve seen. Isn’t that always the way? There was a Pilgrim at Poly when I worked there that got a brand new truck and smashed it into the back of a tanker truck.
Couldn’t total one of the POS loaners, had to be a brand new truck.Flat Earth Trucker, JoeyJunk, Deadhead-er and 1 other person Thank this. -

People just can't figure out the whole "blindly following the GPS" thing, for one reason or another...

I Loved Trucking when we used an ATLAS, a C.B., and ASKED LOCALS AT TRUCK STOPS about local businesses as well BEST access. We also used Qualcomm, PAPER LOGS.
The scariest stuff I ever heard about was driving on PONTOON Bridges in Louisiana.
Years later, I drove a Class 8 (don't recall if auto or straight drive) Freightshaker Sleeper Truck with an EMPTY 53' Air Ride Dry Van across a couple Pontoon Bridges on my backwoods way to Morgan City, far as I recollect.
It was Beautiful down there.
On the way down, there was an off and on Canal Wall on my right.
CHEERS!! -
