Preventable on whose part, a train hitting a 35 mph curve @ 60 mph, they going to be pointing fingers to many but the real culprit, our infrastructure has fallen apart and is obsolete.

Unpreventable no doubt.I think there were 2 trks hit by the train and a few 4 wheelers thank god noone on the ground was hurt.Who knows this may be a blessing for the cars and trucks with brand new vehicles.
