Question Maverick or Sharkey

    Trying to decide between maverick or sharkey refer divisions
    Maverick 08 - 10 columbia or cascadia
    Sharkey 04-10 Mac vision
    pay very close however sharkey pays my and wifes ins


    input good or bad companies ???

    They all say that for requirements. It all depends on if they like what they see on the application if you ask me.

    I never personally drove for Sharkey but my father did and he loved it. He never had to sit and wait for a load and the DM's we're friendly. The only reason he left was to go over to Kohl's on a local route.

    I worked for Sharkey for a bit. I felt they were a good company, took good care of their trucks. Office staff and DM was always polite. I rarely had to sit and wait for a load, they preplan, which I thought was a good deal.

    I don't think they hire anyone with less than one year exp.

    I have a good friend who drives Sharkey. They will NOT hire you with less than 1 yr experience. That being said he loves it there. He runs 2600-3000 miles a week 90% drop and hook and home almost every weekend.
