    (or is that for doo-dy,) in the new topic forum.:biggrin_2552:

    LTL=Less Than Load
    LTL=Late To Lunch
    LTL=Little Time Left
    LTL=Last To Load

    I started my (short) trucking "career" with LTL refers, and ended it with local LTL P&D. With some long haul, and regional dry, along with aggregate work in between.

    Ex-military (or veteran as everyone else calls it). Drove trucks for the Air Force. Did a combat tour in Iraq doing linehauls in an Air Force Medium Truck Detachment under a Army transportation battalion. I kinda miss those days. Anyway, I got my CDL in the military, and as I was on my way out of Uncle Sam's gate, I was scooped up by one of the "Big Three" LTL carriers. Been with them ever since. I can honestly say that I would not trade it for the world... or at least half of it.
