I hit a sheep years ago, with a Kenworth T600. Driving thru the country on a 2 lane, about 5 AM. I topped a hill about 57, saw 3 sheep on my side of the road. They saw me about the time I saw them, and they started to run back across the road. One didn't make it, it hit the right front of the truck, and went under the wheels. I stopped, and a couple of guys in a car stopped, and said what a sight that was! And did it ever STINK!
A couple of farms close by, but I wasn't going to knock on doors at 5AM. So I drove down the road about 5 miles, pulled into the cop shop, and told them what happened. No damage to the truck, so they thanked me, and said they would handle it. Sent me on my way.

Climbed down from my deer stand last fall and headed to town in my pickup. Hit a beauty 8 pointer that caused $7200 in damage.

I haven't hit anything interesting in the big truck yet.

About 2AM one morning cruising along, too late to do anything, saw a scrimmage line of racoons run full speed from the median across the hammer lane and perfectly lined up with my drivers side tires, ran them all over, 9 wheels of justice. The larger racoon, (must have been the mama) ran back towards the median but I saw her in my mirror go under a 4wheeler. I never tapped the brakes or altered course or anything. But I could see the headlights dipping down on the traffic behind me indicating they were braking hard at the bloody scene.

Forked horn buck trying to show off for his girls, headbutted my drivers side headlight fixture and broke the mounts inside the hood as well as his neck. Called Accidents, started a claim. Took truck down to Kenworth, they said 3-5 days to get in the body shop and $1000 please. I asked how much is the light fixture? $375. So I bought it and put it in myself and cancelled claim.

About a month ago a large bird I think a wild turkey came flying across the interstate about windshield high, she got some lift but not enough and hit my T660 air dam up there, no damage but sounded like a bomb.

Squashed a raccoon totally flat. Gave another one a haircut when he ran back underneath me... fur, skin and backbone. I don't appreciate them masked rats much.

A Dog run out from the bushes directly under my flatbeds front axle. I felt sorry but I blame the owner of the dog. He should secure his dog some how.

Hit a big hoot owl about 3 in the morning just out side West Plains one morning. It hit square in the right windshield hard enough it came thru, after cleaning the mess in my britches I thought well I'm only a few miles from sale barn might as well go on windshield or not. Just as I got pumped back up to speed the owl came back to life mad as a wet hornet how I got hemmed up without catastrophe I'll never no pulled the brake and bailed out let the owl have it. After a visit to the ER and 21 stitches total in 2 places a new windshield we were good as new. Still wonder what the owl thought of the whole ordeal

I ran over about a six month old black lab puppy in Arkansas one day. He came out of nowhere and didn't leave me time to react. Hit him with the front steer, then subsequently with the drives and the tandems as well. I weighed about 78,000#s at the time. So when I looked in the mirror, it looked like he had been road killed for a week already, as he was flatter than a pancake.

I believe yours takes the win for strangeness, hard to imagine something breaking a windshield like that without killing its self and them coming back for more.

Husband had a deer just decide it was time to jump out in front of the truck. we had just left a rest area that we had stopped at over the Nebraska line and into Iowa. Got the headlight, the corner section, cracked the hood, cracked the front grill. Made to Des Moines area to have temporary surgery done and light put in until he could get back to the terminal and then finished load delivery. It will really wake you up at 3 in the morning.

I counted no less then about 39 deer in the Virginia area's we went through after that. They love to get where the grass has been cut on the sides of the road.
