So I'm driving to work, and traffic stops for miles in a 60mph zone, because of a construction sign. No good reason really, slight bump in the road, like any other bump without a sign (that can be negotiated at full speed), also the construction sign had no speed limit, it was just a caution. People consistently decide that means stop though, everytime I'm on that stretch. The same people who would speed through a rougher road if it had a 50mph sign. I'm not going that way again until the sign is gone.

So then I'm driving a truck, and leave a good 500 feet in front of me for a bus to merge into traffic that's moving between zero and ten, and the bus driver instead of slowing down and falling in, goes full speed to the end of the lane and stops traffic that much more to get in front of the one car on the end (with no room in front of it). Then a shuttle bus does the same thing later that day.

Why does every pedestrian who uses a crosswalk pound on the button an average of eight times?

I just push it twice and then hold it until the light changes.

Why do the mega fleet drivers feel the need to ride the center lane at 10mph under the speed limit while everyone passes them on the right?
Bakerman, Raiderfanatic, camionneur and 1 other person Thank this. -
Why do megas cause an elephant race for miles, and then get off at the next exit when they finally passed?
Raiderfanatic, camionneur and truckon Thank this. -
People gain stupidity when they get behind the wheel of a vehicle.

Why do drivers who are clean freaks about the inside of a truck never seem to clean the reflective tape on the outside? Oh yeah, they don't want to get dirty, then the inside would be filth.

If I didn't change trailers almost daily...my trailer would be as clean as my truck.

Doesn't make a lot of sense though, you're right.truckon Thanks this. -
I think it's kinda cool to have a muddy trailer with shiny reflectors, 'cause then ya know that's a hand made work of art.
Vilhiem Thanks this.
