If the semi passed me like I'm sitting still I wouldn't flash him but if he drives professional and passes me then I would let him know its clear come on back over.

I really try not to worry about the high beams so much, but about a week ago I was driving and it was raining. It was hard to see as it was, so when someone came by with brights I would do a quick flash. I was surprised at how many dimmed their lights, letting me know I was not delusional. It's not the LED's, people are driving around with their brights on with no regard to others.

Again I usually ignore them and avert my eyes, but it was rainy and the road I was driving hasn't been painted in a while.

How do you let them know? By flashing your super brights?

Some safety departments are advocating their driver use the highbeams all the time.

Just wondering.......with a wide load, do you appreciate it when drivers hug the white line when you are passing? Or could you care less? I know you guys know what you are doing, but I think you would appreciate drivers giving you room.

Also, sometimes at night I will interrupt my lights to a passing truck that gives me room just as a thank you.

Wow. Which safety department's are those? I want to know what carriers to avoid working for, because their safety departments are run by idiots...

One more thing.......I don't flash my highs at night, but during the day if I see a 4 wheeler struggling to get on the highway I will flash them (in the right circumstances) so they know they can get on and to hurry up (I see you). We all need to get home.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hope you are home or are in a happy place!

You wrote that you would "let them know". I am curious how you would do that, seriously.
