    Hello everyone

I'm going to orientation on January 6. Can you guys give me some tips to streamline the things I bring when I'm on my own? Does the truck have a fridge? Sheets? Or sleeping bag? Where do we shower? Fuel? Dang. I guess I have a lot of questions. TIA

    blairandgretchen Thanks this.

some trucks have small fridges, some dont. you mostly fuel at dc and shower there also. you can use your credit card for fuel, scales, showers, etc. you need your on bedding. spray mattress with spray first

Pack light. When I was slipseating, I packed my stuff in plastic totes so it took less time to transfer it from car to truck or truck to truck. Sleeping bag, pillows, cooler packed with food, etc. After a while, you’ll get faster at switching trucks. All trucks are supposed to be equipped with cleaning supplies, at least at my DC.
If a truck is not acceptable to you, you can refuse it. Just tell the person who assigned it to you why.
Sorry for the disjointed reply. Just woke up.

I got my system down to 3 things to move, sleeping bag with sheets and pillows inside, cooler with food and back pack with all my electronics in it and one if those clipboards with storage for paperwork. I could be out the gate in an hr while switching trucks. It's not as bad as some make it out to be. Attitude is very important here, go with the flow and will do great and have no stress
