The mechanic should have caught this easily with live under load monitoring, as t in t said the wiring harness causes his issue, and this should have been suspect right from the start, a live under load monitoring would tell this fast.

Thank you guys so much, I will relay this information to him or the next mechanic if this guy's unable or unwilling to find the issue. Sounds to me like all he wants to do is change parts atm, I seem to be getting lucky getting these types of mechanics

If all these mechanics have looked over mechanical,
I’m thinking a sensor, have you checked camshaft sensor?
You’ve eliminated drive line. -

Is it a Volvo engine??? If the above advise doesnt help and it is a Volvo engine you may want to check the cam and/or rockers

Maybe it has to due with the pedal assembly being changed, since it wasn't there before and now it is. Just a thought.
